Yoshi and Kyoko Sato are an enigmatic winemaking couple based in the sunny Central Otago region of New Zealand. They create focuses, and precise wines, through the use of organic farming practices and minimal intervention in the winery.
This wine, from the sandy, stony loam soils of the Northburn vineyard, is aged for 15 months in old oak to create a beautiful, balanced wine, which showcases the voluptuous fruit character of the Otago region.
