Beaujolais has a reputation for lacking in complexity, although there are a brace of producers who are flying the flag for wines with lashing of it. Jean-Marc Burgaud is one such producer, with this wine coming from the 'Cote de Puy', one of the most highly regarded lieu-dit in all of Beaujolais.
Expect classic beaujolais notes of, bright red and black fruits, with layers of wet leaves and fine mineral notes
