Burgundy is one of the great regions of the world, but increasingly the prestigious villages are becoming more and more expensive. Monthelie is just by Meursault, and has plenty in common with the Chardonnay there, but at a fraction of the price tag.
Fresh lemon curd, nashi pear, hazelnuts and vanilla, all kept tight by a good lick of fresh acidity
